Establishing a presence on the Internet will give us the opportunity to post our newsletter to the Internet community, enabling SGN members who own computers the ability to have on-line access to the newsletter, archives of past newsletters, repositories of other articles by SGN members, as well as giving our group the chance to meet new people around the world who stumble upon our World-Wide Web page by accident (or divine guidance?).
A World-Wide Web presentation has now been established for SGN, during the first week of August, 1995. It will provide an electronic library of SGN material, as well as an interactive meeting area, where we can reach out to others around the city, state, country, and world. Although there may be some space limitations in terms of computer megabytes (though we still have a lot to work with), the only other limitations for what can be done with this setup are the limits of our imagination.
In order to access SGN's World-Wide Web presentation with a computer, it is necessary to have either:
1) "SLIP" or "PPP" account from an Internet service provider (if you wish to access it from your own computer at home), along with a World Wide Web browser program (the most popular, at this time, being Netscape Navigator 1.1)
The "URL" World Wide Web address is:
and our E-mail address (accessible through most any on-line service or bulletin board system, from anywhere in the world) is:
