What is Spiritual Guidance?

The contemp;orary spiritul search may be a search for meaning of one's life or various transitoions, a journey inward, a re-evaluation, or a search for self-discovery and awareness leading to enlightenment and change.

Definition and Purpose

Spiritual guidance is about facilitating our relationship to this mystery we call God/dess. It is a ministry tht helps us come to an every deeper realization of this Mystery in relation to the unique lives given us.

Spiritual guidance is a relationship that aims at helping us center in our lives in the Divine Mystery. We start with whatever hs been ouir expeirience of the holy, the sacred, the divine, the mysterious. Guidance is a shared process of sensitizing us further to the presence and action in our lives in order to more fully empower us in living more fully within this Mystery. A frequent aim is to integrate prayer and life, reflection and action, and faith and justice with compassion. When we share the meaning of our lives and what values guide us with others we become more aware of ourselves, the leadings of the Spirit, and more free and courageous to fully commit ourselves to loving decisions and actions.
