Encourage a deeper faith commitment by all employees by faith study and prayer support groups, that is, willingness to be more deeply committed to their own spiritual journey.
Visualize ministry of as a team effort, in which we are all co-disciples for the sake of the Reign of God. The priestliness of the laity from their Baptism is the primary source of grace.

Serve as a bridge builder between all community services led by faith values. As Merton said in Asia: "We are already One." The challenge is in recognizing and building on that awareness as we have now done for four years in the Many Faces of Spirit community in Lexington and for ten years with the Spiritual Growth Network of Kentucky. Bridge-building will relate the best of current leadership practice to gospel values.
Requirements: Experience in pastoral counseling, with a background in behavioral science and organizational dynamics: a track record of already performing the above activities; background in theology, ordination, experience in interfaith dialogue, facilitating retreats, and in empowering others for their spiritual journey; recognition of the central role of grace and Mystery; ease in working in interfaith, interdenominational settings.
In short, I would offer that if each organization had someone helping the executive team and staff (and volunteers?) develop and sustain this spiritual focus, the entire organization would be stronger and more effective, more inspired by grace and led by the Spirit. Intentionally. Motivation for work could become more intrinsic: more guided by a desire to develop and to sustain high performance.
A bibliography can be offered regarding a national industry-wide movement that encourages "faith at work," values discussion groups of employees, held over lunch time, usually. This is a voluntary movement that has a number of resources and guides. Note: this is NOT doctrinal because when the basic metaphor becomes the personal spiritual journey, then each of us is equal, and everyone can learn from one another. Learning to talk about and share values increases the ability of each person to live an authentic spirituality, and to be more comfortable and encouraged to express a values-driven motivation at work. This is an empowering experience. Send for more explanation if needed.
